The Tech Supplies Buying Group started about eight years ago in Southern Maine. At the time PRC Technologies was refilling its own cartridges and doing all the shipping and warehousing of product. There were a dozen school districts purchasing printing supplies when a tech director approached PRC and suggested forming some sort of buying group to help lower pricing. All school accounts at the time were approached and asked if they would be interested in receiving a discounted price in exchange for listing them as a member of the Tech Supplies Buying Group. All agreed and the group was formed.

Over the years different value added benefits have been added such as free ewaste disposal, discounts on other products we sell, free printers, wholesale pricing on printers, discounts on Mimio, PaperCut and Smartsearch and when we held a series of iBook repair classes members received a discounted rate. We believe in building relationships and in helping schools with affordable solutions.
